As the new school year began I got busy finding ways to incorporate cell phones into my instruction.
I start class each day with a journal topic. Students write them in a spiral that they turn in each Friday. What if instead of writing their responses, they created an avatar and used their cell phone to record their responses? Since I teach speech it makes perfect sense for them to express themselves orally and their cell phone could be a tool to do just that.
