Make Your Students Virtual Tour Guides

Most educators have experienced the "Plan a Trip" project. Either through a Social Studies, Foreign Language, Math or other class, students all over the world have made posters, brochures and presentations about their fictitious trips. There are many teachable moments and value in these projects, but if you are still having students create print brochures or slideshows, your students are missing the opportunity to be virtual tour guides.

Google has recently made it easy to add Google Maps and embed code into new Google sites, making it the perfect platform to make these tours virtual. Using street view, 360 photo spheres from Google Maps, and 360 video from YouTube, student travel projects become completely interactive.
